I served this savory quick bread tonight for dinner. I found this new recipe in my Taste of Home baking book. This recipe contains a great shortcut - baking mix! I loved that this bread was easy to prepare and didn't require a long baking time. It's a twist on the routine rolls or bread to serve with dinner. I'll definitely make this again!
1 ½ c biscuit/baking mix
1 c shredded mozzarella cheese
¼ c grated Parmesan cheese
½ t dried oregano
½ c milk
1 egg beaten
2 T butter, melted
Additional Parmesan cheese
